Here are 3 creative date ideas you can try! These date ideas are crafted in a way that lifts the pressure off of coming up with the next topic for conversation, because there are tasks and activities to be completed. Don't get me wrong though, conversation alone is great, but it becomes a burden when that's all that's left to do, especially for couples that know each other so well already. It does not stop here though. I hope that these inspire you to come up with your own ideas, because after all, if that person is right for you, they won't put down your efforts to be creative. They will embrace them and show enthusiasm!
1. A Thrift Date with a Spin

This isn't just any ordinary trip to buy clothes that I just finished making fun of, because there is a creative spin to it. Let's turn it into a game, shall we? Since everything in a thrift store costs next to nothing, you can afford to do this. You and your date have to split up and find 3 pieces each (the number of pieces obviously does not matter). The catch is, you're finding clothes for each other. Then, after that is finished, you have to reveal the pieces to each other and decide whether you like them or not. This idea is cool because you get to see each other's taste in fashion, and it gives inspiration to those moments where you can mix in some flirting and teasing by saying things like "What is that? You think that looks nice?"
2. Teacher Vs. Student

Everyone has hobbies and skills, and there is nothing more exciting than passing on these skills to someone whom you care about. It does not matter how you set this up. You can teach your date a new skill, they can teach you one or you can both teach each other one. This can be as simple as you teaching your date how to make scrambled eggs or them teaching you how to shuffle a deck of cards like one of those poker dudes. The possibilities are endless and the benefit is that you get to acquire new skills. I mean, who doesn't want to acquire new skills? That should be everyone's goal!
3. Get Coffee, but Create a Story Together

You will need pen and paper, so maybe wear a backpack on that date, hmm? This one is something you can just add to your coffee date to make it more fun. What happens is one of you (it does not matter who) writes the first sentence of a purely imaginative story. After that, you pass the paper to your date and they have to write the next sentence of the story and improvise according to what you wrote. This can go back and forth for as long as you want it to! This is fun because you get to see how creative your date is and vice versa. It also inspires moments of laughter because of the funny continuations you can write down. That's the beauty of it, you get to be creative and show off your sense of humour!
